Wenatchee World Newspaper reported Nathaniel Washington Sr. and Jr. have been recognized for their advocacy of hydropower and infrastructure advancement. U.S. Department of the Interior Secretary David Bernhardt announced that Grand Coulee Dam’s third power plant will be renamed “Nathaniel ‘Nat’ Washington” in their honor.
